Two years ago, our founding team went through the VA claims process ourselves and experienced what too many Veterans still face: poor communication, confusing guidance, overpriced services, and a lack of respect for the people who served. We saw companies charging thousands of dollars while providing little more than paperwork assistance, with no clear roadmap, no accountability, and no real advocacy. Veterans were left to figure out the most important parts of their claims on their own.
We knew that had to change.
We built YourVAClaim on one simple idea: Veterans should have a clear, step-by-step path to the highest possible VA rating—without being taken advantage of. Our goal is always the same: to help Veterans reach the maximum rating they are entitled to, including 100% when the evidence supports it.
We also believe pricing should be fair. That’s why we charge a flat, transparent fee—no percentages of your back pay, no hidden costs, and no financial penalties for winning big. Veterans have already earned their benefits. We simply help them claim them properly.

My name is Jeffrey Young, and I am the Co-Founder and the Lead Claims Specialist at YourVAClaim – We Do Claims For Less!
I proudly served nearly six years in the United States Army and was medically discharged. That was my first introduction to the VA system—and like many Veterans, I had no idea how complex and frustrating it could be until I had to navigate it myself.
That experience changed my life and my career.
I went on to spend over a decade working inside the VA as a Veteran Service Representative and a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, where I helped Veterans understand their benefits, develop claims, and build paths toward financial and personal stability. After leaving federal service, I continued serving Veterans as a Veteran Service Officer, and later through education and consulting roles.
Because of this, I’ve worked at nearly every level of the VA claims process—from inside the system and from the Veteran’s side. That perspective is rare, and it’s what allows me to see what most people miss.
Today, I use that experience to help Veterans avoid mistakes, build strong medical and legal foundations for their claims, and fight for the highest ratings they deserve. I stay current on VA laws, policies, and procedures so your claim is built the right way the first time.
